This friday is the start of a Hype Headz weekly at Black & Tan(located on 7th & Trinity) that is going to last throughout the scary month of Halloween and—hopefully—continue from there.

Every friday will host OH PIMP: a night of Hype Headz (DEEJAY YAYYAY, Tummy Toast, Max Ferrari) & special guest performances with the best in fidget, techhouse, speedgarage, minimal, italo disco, cosmic, acid, flash, & chicago house. Visuals done by Shiny Kid!

As for October 3rd, it is the special release of Tummy Toast’s music video, “Glam Jam,” which has been directed by Shiny Kid Caitlin Diaz. Valley music & art collective, Cul n Sweet, are also going to be mixing. Come out and see if you can keep up with the fancy footwork of the night.

Hype Headz Invade San Antonio

This past Saturday (8/9/08), Hype Headz made house at the Rave ‘Til Dawn House Party @ 415 Wildwood in San Antonio. We were psyched to escape Austin, check out a different scene, and of course mix! We took down DJAY YAYYAY, Tummy Toast, visualist Shiny Kid, Max Ferrari, and our producer— DJ Mat.  Special Guest, Shooknite also played and provided the night with a PA system. Trash Stache was scheduled to play but canceled and pimp visualist Shiny Kid was unable to vjay due to the theft of her Tokyo Motion Dive console.
