Every fall a group of fanatix gather around an alter of knobs and wires to worship the God of Voltage. They bear their offerings, hewn from great slabs of electricity by the old masters, to the Salvage Vanguard Theater and arrange them in public display for the joy of all.

Be one of the faithful. Bring an analog synthesizer to this year’s synthesizer party. Commune with other believers. Bring headphones.

Pig Pen Party

Jim Drain’s Video Pig Pen Party is to be a communal engagement documented as a spectacle to be exhibited in Drain’s upcoming installation for the Blanton in july. all attendees are highly encouraged to come dressed in any beastly subhuman devolved amazon themed garb you can concoct. Music will be provided by Dj Ben Aqua and will feature the premiere performances by two new austin duos Psychic Violence (Johnny and Eli of Knife Party / Navajo Radio) and Go Die (Kyle and Mark of Survive). two of the newest purveyors of the modern mystic sludgegaze deadwave goth poetry movement. Live music Ends at 10pm so performances will start around 8pm. FRIDAY JUNE FOURTH, SEVEN TO TWELVE AM!!!!!!!!! DONT FUCK AROUND YALL!

The O.P.E.R.A House closing party 8/10

The O.P.E.R.A House, a staple in the Austin experimental/noise music and art community for the past few years, is calling it quits this Sunday, August 10th, 5-11pm.

Come celebrate the closing of the space! Music, movies, water fun, BYOfood to grill!

Featuring performances by Night Viking, nanobangbang, Teddy & Marge, and Ichinisanchi.

last opera house show – Yes, that means goodbye, icycle stalagtites. Get serious! be there! Party starts around 5ish with games and treats and emotion grab bags. line-up= Lori 16mm, Paul Baker… whenever + 7:30– Ichi Ni San Shi, 8:00– Nano Bang Bang, 9:00– Teddy & Marge, 10:00– Night Viking. P.s., We are playing a show all together for the first time since March… so…. the theme is kinda like: yeah, things end, but sometimes they don’t exactly end, they come back like zombies or Jesus. You just never know.
