The Awthum Empire is dedicated to the advancement, research and development of independent, fringe, avant, and DIY culture in the Austin, Texas area and beyond. We are a network of artists and performers. We produce a local access TV show called Everything in Heaven is TV, organize a yearly music and art festival during SXSW called Awthumfetht, organize art shows in living rooms, make costumes, spraypaint trees neon colors, and drool all day watching video feedback.
