The 8088 Record Collective Compilation Vol. 3 CD Release show is happening February 28 @ The Parlor (100 E. North Loop, Austin, TX).
They will be passing out FREE double disc compilations at the show. The comps feature local Austin acts Bridge Farmers, Aunt’s Analog, Betaplayer, and Transmography. 22 other bands from other regions of the US are involved.

Austin Video Bee 2 Release Party

The Austin Video Bee is pleased to invite you to the Release Party for our imaginatively titled second collection of videos: Austin Video Bee 2, with special musical guest Cari Music at the Carousel Lounge. For our second collaborative effort, each of our members invited a guest artist to either collaborate with them on a video, or submit a video of their own, resulting in a compilation of 12 new videos loosely dealing with the theme of binaries, pairs, duplicates, twins or any other understanding of the number 2.
You’re Welcome is Hall Sheriff, Cristina Vasquez, Ryan Rhodes, Marc Voorhees, and Harsh Patel. They’ll be showing some new work at Texas French Bread, 3213 Red River, Austin, TX at 5pm on Sunday, February 22, 2009.
I don’t know anything about this show, though the last couple of shows I’ve seen them do featured photos of girls puking and stuff. Don’t miss this.
